Hello all of my cast & crew,

It is with great sadness that I must inform you all; our Super Star David Peter “RUSTY” Fitzgerald has passed away.

David was a guiding light for many years on all of our productions; and he will be greatly missed - we worked together for over 30 years.

All the way from short films at the University of Canterbury to wild movies on the West Coast!! He did the Hollywood films AVATAR, KING KONG & the HOBBIT; but his performance in the FIVE KINGDOMS as Anandas the Monk shone brightly above them all - winning an Enfield Award for “BEST ACTOR IN A MOTION PICTURE” - you will be sadly missed.

Our old mate from the Chathams Islands SEA CAPTAIN “LINK” CHRISTENSEN has passed away. He starred in “THE WIZARD & THE COMMODORE” skippering to the South East Island & the Pyramid on the “Bridget Bo”.
Link was a real man; he was safe at sea, & he leaves behind many sad hearts on the mainland & The Chathams Islands.

Sail on Brother,
Sail to the farthest Sea,
Your history is remembered,
Your work you did is not forgot,
Old Salt, The Islands are a missin you,
To lift that last Craypot.

By all accounts, Link passed away at the wheel of the “Bridget Bo” in Bluff.

A good man.
